The Model 2300 may be installed on the door or the jamb, in either left or right-handed mode. Control of the opener is achieved through a built-in radio receiver that interfaces with either a Power Access-supplied remote control, or with ECU, sip, puff and other controls. Wireless or hard-wired wall plates, dc power supply switches and controls are also available. Integration with electric strikes (locks) is accomplished through the unit’s integral 24-vdc transformer.
The 2300’s unique friction clutch arm and special gear motor both open and close the door and permit automatic or manual door operation. Cycle time to either open or close is from 7-8 seconds. “Hold Open” time can be set from 0 -30 seconds. The door opener weighs only 10 lb. and is just 12-3/4” wide x 6” high x 3-1/2” deep. oscilloscopeIt plugs into a standard household outlet with 115vac current and comes with a nine foot power cord. Battery back-up is also available.
